Ask an AI assistant about your pet's health
Dog not eating, cat throwing up, or not sure which food to pick? Describe what's going on: the assistant answers with your pet's profile in mind and tells you when to see a vet right away. It does not diagnose and does not replace a vet.
Free: 3 AI-assistant questions a day, a pet profile with health record and vaccination reminders. Sign in with email, no credit card needed.
Barney has been eating poorly for two days but drinks and plays. What should I do?
If there are no other symptoms, it is usually fine to watch for a day: check that the food is fresh and cut treats between meals.
See a vet right away if vomiting, blood in the stool, lethargy or refusing water appear.
What people ask the AI assistant
The assistant sees your pet's profile: species, age, breed and vaccinations, so the answers are not generic. You can attach a photo to your question.
- My dog hasn't eaten for two days, what should I do?
- My cat threw up after eating, is it serious?
- Which food is best for a neutered cat?
- When does my puppy need the next vaccination?
AI does not diagnose and does not replace a veterinarian. With warning signs (blood, seizures, labored breathing, a pet that can't get up) go to a clinic right away.
Sound familiar if you worry about your dog's or cat's health?
Easy to miss a vaccination
Vaccinations and flea, tick and worm treatments each run on their own schedule, and the records sit in a paper passport and old chats. You remember them when the date has passed or a trip is coming up.
Online advice contradicts itself
One forum says it will pass, the next article warns of a scary diagnosis. And none of it takes your pet's age, breed or vaccinations into account.
No one to ask at night or on weekends
Symptoms rarely show up during clinic hours. Calling friends feels awkward, but you want to know how serious it is before morning.
Not sure if it's urgent
Your dog skipped dinner, your cat threw up. It might be nothing, or it might be time to go to the clinic. Getting it wrong is scary either way.
How it works in three steps
- 1
Create your pet's profile
Name, species, age and breed take a minute. Add vaccinations by hand or photograph the pet passport: AI moves the records into the profile.
- 2
Describe what worries you
In your own words: what happened, when it started, how your pet is behaving. You can attach a photo. The assistant takes the age, breed, vaccinations and food from the profile into account.
- 3
Get an answer and a next step
What might be behind the symptom, what to do at home and what to watch for. If your pet needs a vet, the assistant says so plainly and explains how urgent it is.

Frequently asked questions about Pawzport
Can an AI assistant replace a vet?
No. The AI assistant does not diagnose, does not prescribe treatment and does not replace an examination: a vet can palpate, listen and run tests, which is impossible in a chat. The assistant is useful before and after a visit: it explains what a symptom might mean, suggests what to ask the vet, and helps you make sense of the records in your pet's profile and choose food. If your description includes warning signs such as blood in vomit or stool, seizures, labored breathing, refusing water or severe lethargy, the assistant will say plainly that you need a clinic right away. AI can make mistakes, so when in doubt, have your pet seen by a vet.
What can I ask the AI assistant and how much does it cost?
Anything about your dog's or cat's health, food and care: your pet is not eating, is vomiting or has diarrhea, which food to choose, when the next vaccination or tick treatment is due, what a line in the vet's notes means. The assistant answers with your pet's profile in mind: species, age, breed and vaccinations. You can attach a photo, for example of a skin rash or a food label. The free plan includes 3 questions a day; Premium at $4.99 a month includes up to 30 questions a day.
Which documents and languages are supported?
Pet health passports, vet certificates, discharge summaries and lab results — as a photo or scan. Recognition and translation work between major languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Russian. The list keeps growing.
Is it free?
The basics are free: one pet with the health record and reminders, one trial document scan and 3 AI-assistant questions a day. Premium is $4.99 a month: up to 10 pets, family access, unlimited document recognition and a vet-ready card in eight languages. For comparison: a single certified translation of a pet passport usually costs $30–60, and in Pawzport document translation is already included.
Does Pawzport replace the paper pet passport?
No. Border control and government offices still require the paper document. Pawzport is the digital copy next to it: the full health history, translated records and reminders, so the paper passport is always filled in on time.
What documents do I need to travel abroad with a dog or cat?
Usually a pet passport with a valid rabies vaccination, a microchip, parasite treatment and an official health certificate. The exact list depends on the destination country. Pawzport stores the documents and tracks the dates so everything is ready before the trip.
Does it work offline?
Document recognition and sync need an internet connection. The translated PDF passport can be exported in advance and shown offline — for example at the border or on the road.
How safe is my data?
Your data is stored with care, never shared with third parties and never used to train AI models. We comply with applicable data-protection laws, including Brazil's LGPD and the EU GDPR.
Do I need an account or an app store?
An account keeps the history synced and available to your family. Pawzport installs as an app straight from the website — no App Store or Google Play needed.
How do I share the health record with a vet abroad?
Show a QR code or send a link — the vet sees what they need in their own language. Or export the translated PDF health passport and hand it over at the clinic.
