1. Data controller

The data controller is Andrei Malyi LTDA, CNPJ 53.596.237/0001-43, Brazil ("we"). Contact for personal-data matters: hello@pawzport.com.

2. What data we process

The website has no registration, no sign-in and no forms for submitting data. Data is collected automatically while you browse the site:

• Web server logs. For every request the server records the IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested address and the browser string (user agent).
• Rybbit web analytics. The analytics script records page views (the page address including link parameters such as utm tags, and the address of the page you came from); button clicks and their text; clicks on links to other websites (link address and text); the fact that an input field was changed, without the value entered; text copied from the page (the copied fragment, up to 500 characters); JavaScript errors; page loading performance metrics; browser language, screen size, device type, browser and operating system, and the country and city derived from the IP address. Session recording (session replay) is turned off.
• Visitor identifier. To tell visitors apart without cookies, Rybbit computes a hash of the IP address and the browser string. The identifier stays the same as long as your IP address and browser stay the same, so it can link your repeat visits. The IP address itself is not stored in the analytics reports. We treat this identifier as personal data and process it under this policy.
• Sentry error reports. When a JavaScript error occurs on a page, a technical description is sent to Sentry: the error message, the location in the code, the page address, the browser and the operating system. Sending personal data is turned off in the Sentry settings, and session recording and tracing are disabled. As with any network request, your device's IP address is visible to the Sentry server receiving the report.

Pet name. The pet name field on the home page is not sent anywhere. The name and the selected species are added as parameters to the links to the pawzport.app app and reach the app only if you follow such a link. The website does not store the name, but when you follow the link, the analytics records the link address and text, which contain the name.

Cookies. The website does not set cookies. The analytics script keeps a random technical identifier in browser storage (localStorage), which under the current settings is not sent to the analytics server, and, if you opted out of analytics, the opt-out flag.

3. Purposes of processing

• to operate and secure the website (server logs);
• to find and fix errors on the website (Sentry, error data in Rybbit);
• to understand where visitors come from and how they use the website in order to improve it (Rybbit).

We do not use this data for advertising and we do not sell it.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the website (Art. 7, IX of the Brazilian General Data Protection Law, LGPD, Law No. 13.709/2018; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR where it applies). You have the right to object to processing for analytics and to opt out of it (see section 7).

5. Storage and security

Data is kept no longer than the purposes in section 3 require and is not published. We apply organizational and technical measures required by applicable law to protect data from unauthorized access, alteration and disclosure.

6. Recipients and international transfers

Data is processed using the following servers and services:

• website hosting: a server in Turkey, where the web server logs are kept;
• Rybbit: open-source web analytics that we run on our own server; requests to it pass through the Cloudflare network;
• Sentry: an error monitoring service, data is stored in its EU region (Germany).

Data is therefore transferred outside Brazil. We do not share data with any other third parties, except where expressly required by applicable law (at the request of competent public authorities).

7. Your rights and opting out of analytics

At any time you may:

• request information about the processing of your data;
• request correction, blocking or deletion of your data;
• object to processing of your data for analytics.

You can opt out of analytics right away, without writing to us: open pawzport.com/?rybbit=off. The analytics script in this browser will then stop sending data. The opt-out flag is stored in your browser, so you need to repeat it on another device or after clearing the site data. To turn analytics back on: pawzport.com/?rybbit=on.

For any other request write to hello@pawzport.com. We do not know visitors' names or email addresses, so to find your data we may need details of your visit: approximate date and time, IP address, browser. We will reply within 10 business days.

8. The Pawzport app

The buttons on this website lead to the pawzport.app app. Data processing inside the app itself (accounts, pet profiles, medical documents) is described in its own privacy policy.

The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
